Terms of service

These terms cover your use of mangoose.tech. Using the product means you accept them.

Who provides the service

mangoose.tech is operated by a founder-led team based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The company is not yet incorporated. "We" and "us" below refer to that team. Contact: support@mangoose.tech.

Your account

• You need an account to run an interview. Keep your login details to yourself.
• Give accurate information when you sign up. An account is for one person — do not share it.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country to hold an account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What the service is

mangoose.tech provides practice interviews conducted by an AI interviewer, and written assessments generated from those sessions. It is a preparation tool.

It is not a hiring decision, a certification, or a guarantee of any outcome. We do not promise that using mangoose.tech will get you an interview, an offer, or a job. The assessments are produced by AI models and can be wrong — treat them as feedback to weigh, not as a verdict.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use the service to break the law, or to harass or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to extract, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the interview content, assessment logic, or underlying models.
• Upload malware, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
• Interfere with the service, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Use automated means to create accounts or generate sessions at volume.

Your content

What you produce during a session — your answers, your code, your diagrams, your CV — remains yours. You grant us permission to process it in order to run the interview, generate your report, and keep your history available to you. How we handle it is set out in the privacy policy.

Paid plans and payment

• Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card and UPI details go to them directly, not to us.
• A plan gives you access to the features listed at the time of purchase, for the period stated.
• You can stop using a plan at any time. If a charge looks wrong, or something failed on our side, write to support@mangoose.tech and we will look at it.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Live interviews depend on your internet connection, your microphone, and third-party infrastructure. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give notice for changes that materially affect a paid plan.

Ending access

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that puts the service or other users at risk.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities or lost earnings arising from interview or hiring outcomes. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be sent to the email address on your account.
